Maps are far from neutral records of space.
The process of mapping is always subjected to a dual representation, tinged with the prejudices of our rendering, and affected by the collective memory of how we record space. From documentaries about the visualization of family migration to experimental films that question our interaction with cities and movement within space, this session provides us with a unique perspective on how the human element emerges within the process of mapping.
